Overview
We worked with New York architects BKH on this gut renovation of aproximately 2,000 sq ft floor in what we thought was a 1950s low rise building. When we removed the existing perimeter walls we uncovered two fireplaces and then found out that it was originally a townhouse built in late 1800s but converted to commercial office space in the 1970's. These two fireplaces became the focal points for our two main salon rooms and also gave us the residential feel that was a common theme for our client. The brief was to deliver a sophisticated classic interior with a modern eclectic twist for their very discerning clients.
